Connaught Aero Club is Mayo's largest and long established IAA Registered Training Facility approved underthe Irish Aviation Authority to deliver training to PPL standard.
The Club is based on apron A at Ireland West Airport Charlestown Co Mayo.
Facilities
Whatever your flying ambitions, Ireland West Airport boasts excellent facilities. There are about 1.5 miles of runway with Air Traffic Control, Instrument Landing Systems and advanced navigation equipment unparalleled in Ireland.
We also have the advantage over other international airports in that long traffic delays are uncommon.
